Health & Hygiene

REACH for Nepal provides improved access and use of safe and sustainable drinking water and sanitation services to children and communities through schools and healthcare services.  A key feature of our sustainable investment in health is education on health and hygiene.

Education

We focus on academic, health, human rights, and environmental education. This includes:

  • individual student scholarships

  • resources such as school uniforms, shoes, winter clothing, teacher training material, student textbooks, creative arts and sports equipment

  • education programs include nutrition, protection of children against sexual exploitation and women against domestic violence, climate change and the effect of pollution

Village Sustainability
& Disaster Response

We take a community led approach to all of our work to ensure donations are targeted to the most vulnerable people and families.

Importantly for the work we do in the villages, our projects are determined and prioritized by Women’s Community Groups and the Chairmen of Villages to ensure we assist those families who are most in need.
